The role
As a Procurement Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll join a diverse, inclusive team offering expertise on innovative products, technologies, and solutions for internal and external customers.

Day-to-day, you’ll be accountable for the supply chain design, sourcing, contracting and procurement of materials and services to meet project objectives for cost, schedule, and quality. You will also:  

• Capture specific project requirements and builds into supply chain requirements
• Design supply chains to meet project requirements and maximise performance whilst minimising risk and complexity
• Effective incorporation of Group and Divisional category strategies into the supply chain design for the project
• Manage sourcing and tendering processes in accordance with agreed project deliverables
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure that the most cost-effective supply solutions are obtained

This role is full time, 37 hours per week provides hybrid working arrangements. 

Essential experience of the Procurement Manager

• Experienced procurement practitioner with deep knowledge of current strategic procurement techniques
• Extensive experience working in complex project environments
• Proven track record of delivering excellent supply chain performance

Qualifications for the Procurement Manager

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent through relevant work experience.
• MCIPS or studying towards MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications
