The role
As a Lead Innovation Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Identifying improvements across the business and implementing them.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll play a part in the process of helping to make changes to the shipbuilding and structural integration in Rosyth.

  • Identify areas of our business that can be improved, such as processes, systems, policies, or procedures, and developing and implementing strategies to enhance them
  • Analyse data to identify trends, monitoring performance metrics, and measuring the impact of changes made to the business
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve Babcock's operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability

 

This role is a Fixed Term Contract, 36 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth. 

 

Essential experience of the Lead Innovation Engineer

  • Experience in engineering within the marine/ship building industry
  • Experience of dimensional control and metrology
  • Experience of CAD

 

Qualifications for the Lead Innovation Engineer

  • An engineering degree or equivalent experience
