The role
As a CNC Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will lead and motivate a group(s) of operators to safely achieve defined packages of work. Utilise resources in the most effective manner focusing on elimination of waste and improving value added. All within the prescribed budgets, quality, and delivery timescales.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll efficiently utilise employees in the execution of the contracted work, ensuring that start/stop times, attendance standards, behaviour standards are always maintained. You will also: 

  • Clear understanding of the need for a Safe Healthy and Environmentally effective systems of work.
  • Prepared to lead from the front and take responsibility.
  • Possess drive enthusiasm and determination.
  • Confident with the ability to influence individual and group behaviour.
  • Encourages participation from all the team.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth. 

 

Essential experience of the CNC Supervisor 

  • Strong background in large CNC machining with a proven experience. Must be able to demonstrate hand`s on ability.
  • A proven record of supervisory experience working in this capacity.
  • Experience in using and understanding SIEMENS 840D controllers or similar

 

Qualifications for the CNC Supervisor

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
