The role

As a Proposal Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will manage the proposals for a wide portfolio of business units including anything from rail to aviation.

 

Day to day, you’ll manage proposal teams to get proposals together for submission. This role is more focused on the written aspect than on price.

 

  • Functional Management of proposal teams
  • Develop and implement effective proposal strategies and management plans
  • Ensure proposals best reflect the benefits and value offering to customers
  • Applying APMP processes 

 

This role is full time, permanent and is fully remote. There is a requirement to travel periodically within the UK to a range of locations supporting bids and delivering business across various internal and customer sites, as and when required.

 

Essential experience of the Proposal Manager

  • Previous experience as a proposal manager 
  • Experience with complex proposals 
  • Strong writing abilities (concise, compelling, able to draw out value and align with business needs)

 

Qualifications for the Proposal Manager

  • APMP qualification 

 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
