The Role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll directly be providing engineering technical support to military ships.


Day to day, you’ll react to and provide support to ships that require it.

  • Provide marine system technical assistance in support of reactive engineering demands
  • Evaluating reactive engineering technical issues and make technical recommendations
  • Carrying out technical investigations and analyses and recommend a course of action
  • Operating a helpdesk service as required

This role is full time with a hybrid working arrangement (one day in office, four working from home)


Essential experience of the Technical Support Engineer

  • Engineering background and knowledge
  • A systems approach to problem solving
  • Ability to understand engineering failures and determine root cause

Qualifications for the Technical Support Engineer

  • HNC / HND in relevant engineering subject preferred however not essential

The successful candidate must hold, or be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
