Mobile Applications Lead

About the role
Here at Babcock International we are looking for a Mobile Applications Lead to act as the central point of contact for mobile applications within Babcock IS. You will be responsible for the internal and external delivery of mobile applications for key business applications to Babcock employees, customers and suppliers. You will manage a mobile app delivery pipeline and liaise with multiple teams including IT management, mobile device vendors, IT security and first line support.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
• Understand business strategies, requirements and support their transplantation into IT strategies and solutions.
• Develop and maintain a community of stakeholders and users across the business
• Deliver a system and functional roadmap and standards for the delivery of mobile applications
• Understand related technologies and engage with their owners
• Manage and maintain pipeline of mobile apps and app mobile development
• Resolve conflicts of backend applications, mobile OS and mobile applications

What do I need to do the role?

You must have experience in leading a mobile applications practice through change and development. An understanding of the IT application lifecycle is important, as well as experience with mobile testing technologies and mobile development technologies.

 

What else do I need to know about the role?
• You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
• All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
