The role

As a Management Accountant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in providing strong financial control, accurate reporting and insightful analysis across Collective Training and Training Services. This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with operational teams, influence decision making, and support financial performance across several contracts.

Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:

• Produce and reviewing monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor contract costs and revenue to ensure accurate financial performance
• Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and income levers
• Support contract reviews by identifying risks, issues, and opportunities
• Deliver financial analysis and modelling to support informed decision making

The role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, primarily home based, with onsite attendance on average once per month at Lakeside or other sites.

Essential experience of the Management Accountant:

• Experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Strong capability using Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft Office tools
• Experience working with finance systems or ERP platforms, such as SAP or Navision
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data into clear, actionable insight
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively

Qualifications for the Management Accountant:

• Recognised professional accounting qualification, or strong part qualified status

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
