Applications Trainer
Lakeside, Portsmouth

About the role
Here at Babcock International we are looking for an Applications Trainer who will be responsible for all learning activities associated with the training lifecycle across multiple applications. These activities will include will include training needs analysis, designing and creating content, change activities, training delivery and providing end user support.  Due to moving towards a self-learning approach, Babcock are focusing their training around creating step by step guides and videos to enhance the training experience of users.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Maintain the training catalogue and related documentation
• Work with sector training leads to deliver the training plan
• Work with project team leads and give training input to the project plan
• Help the training team provide go live support to end users

What do I need to do the role?

• You must be an experienced IT application training professional with experience working with end users.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint is important and experience with Video packages is desirable but not essential.
• Business change experience is advantageous as well as any training related qualifications.


What else do I need to know about the role?
• You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
• All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
