The role
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, your expertise will help deliver innovative solutions aligned with our IT strategy, ensuring systems run seamlessly to support national security and infrastructure. This is a role where your technical skills will make a real difference and where you’ll have the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic, future-focused environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll be a key player in developing and supporting engineering software applications that underpin critical projects in defence, aerospace, and engineering.
- Analysing, developing, and maintaining engineering software applications
- Providing consultancy and technical expertise within your specialist area
- Delivering application configuration, project support, and minor changes
- Acting as a key point of contact for 2nd/3rd line support
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure system performance
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior Business Systems Analyst
- Significant experience managing and maintaining complex IT solutions
- Expertise in one or more of the following:
- Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Product Lifecycle/Data Management
- Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
- Design Analysis
- Integrated Logistic Support and Technical Publications
Qualifications for the Senior Business Systems Analyst
- IT or Engineering-related degree (or equivalent)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
