The HR Assistant - 6-month FTC is based within our Aviation business area.


Our Aviation business helps defend nations, save lives, and protect communities through innovative delivery of critical and vital aviation services to the civil and defence sectors. Everyday lives, livelihoods, safety, and security depend on the operations we fly and enable.


The role


The difference our new HR Assistant - 6-month FTC will make

As a HR Assistant - 6-month FTC you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Helping us to provide a complete HR administrative service in support of the UKMA HR team, across all aspects of the HR function


Day to day, you’ll help with recruitment, payroll, onboarding, queries, changing forms and HR8

Essential experience

•    Experience of operational, day to day HR activities, at an assistant level.
•    Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Mathematics and English).
•    Previous HR/Payroll/Recruitment administration service.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate to all levels of understanding.
•    Experience of analytical tools, personal experience, and management information to develop an understanding of what’s happening in the organisation and externally always considering the bigger picture.
•    Excel – PDFs, Excel 
•    Driving License.
