The role

As a Photographer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll play an important role in supporting military operations through the delivery of high-quality visual content. Working within a unique defence environment, you'll capture and produce imagery that supports public relations activities, official communications, historical archives, operational reporting, and VIP engagements.

Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

• Capturing high-quality photography for public relations, events, official visits, portraiture and military activities.
• Producing identification photographs and official VIP imagery to required standards.
• Supporting video production, editing and media creation projects.
• Editing and enhancing digital imagery using professional photographic software.
• Supporting the Photographic Supervisor and Media Management Team to deliver a comprehensive photographic service.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Wyton.

Essential experience of the Photographer

• Demonstrable experience working in a professional photography role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and digital image editing techniques.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to capture, edit and deliver high-quality photographic content to professional standards.

Qualifications for the Photographer

• BTEC in Photography, City & Guilds 744 or 745, or an equivalent photography qualification

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
