The role
As a Driver - Valeter you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This position involves the safe and timely transportation of passengers and freight to various destinations across the United Kingdom.

Day-to-day responsibilites:

• Adherence to EU Drivers Hours Regulations (EU Regulation 561).
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, undertake valeting tasks, and maintain the overall condition of the transport fleet.
• Accurate reporting of vehicle defects.
• Diligent completion and utilisation of tachographs.
• Prompt notification of accidents, injuries, near-misses, or dangerous occurrences to line management.

This full-time position is based at RAF Wyton.

Essential experience of the Driver - Valeter

• Proven experience in coach driving.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications for the Driver - Valeter

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category D.
  Driver CPC - Certificate of Professional Competency.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC Security Clearance.
