The role

As a Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering professional transport services across a variety of driving activities, including passenger transport, freight delivery, and chauffeur duties. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll interact with a wide range of stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

• Deliver passengers, freight, and equipment to destinations across the UK.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects promptly.
• Complete tachograph records accurately and ensuring compliance with driver regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness through valeting and routine husbandry activities.
• Follow all transport policies, procedures, and safety requirements while providing excellent customer service.

This role is full time, 42 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire.  Shift patterns for this role are an early and late shift rotation, including one weekend in every six weeks.

 Essential experience of the Driver

• Demonstrable experience operating vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience following operational procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• A proactive approach to health, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications for the Driver

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Driver CPC – Certificate of Professional Competence
• Cat D Licence (desirable)
• Cat D1 License (desirable)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
