The role

As a Barrack Stores Supplier, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Undertaking the issue, receipt, and storage of the logistics Supply-chain.

Day to day you’ll locate and manage all stock holdings in accordance with Defence and Air Logistic policies, as well as:

• Prepare documentation, carry out physical issue and receipt furniture stores to or from Service Families (SFA) & Single Living Accommodation (SLA).

• Attend and reconcile Articles in Use (AinU) with physical holdings for SFA handovers or takeovers.

• Assess serviceability of equipment in conjunction with the Barrack Warden.

• Manage unserviceable equipment through the repair cycle in accordance with policy and local instructions.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wyton

Essential experience of the Barrack Stores Supplier

• Computer literate.

• Can work on your own initiative.

• Able to be flexible to accommodate changes in work practices.

• Hold full current driving license.

• Physically fit and able to work outside throughout the year.

• Previous experience in logistics or retail environment is desirable
