Offshore Services Australasia (OSA) is the leading supplier of helicopter services to the Offshore industry. We operate multiple helicopter types from a number of bases throughout Australia and Timor Leste providing support to a number of the major oil and gas producers.

 

About the role

 

We are looking for an experienced Operations Officer - Touring to join our Offshore Operations team.  This business critical role will support services to one of our major customers and is 12 month fixed term position.  Reporting to the Operations Manager (Offshore), you will work as part of a localised team to provide support to ensure efficient and effective base operations.

 

As part of this role you will:

 

  • Ensure the completion of the daily flying program
  • Ensure the base is supplied with necessary equipment, publications, displays and information for all staff where necessary
  • Compile daily reports and collect daily/weekly contract statistics for the base
  • Liaise with other Departments to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Base Flight Operations
  • Update the base’s daily/weekly flight schedule
  • Must live in WA and be prepared to tour

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Aviation and Offshore Operations experience
  • An Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC)
  • Knowledge of Emergency Response procedures
  • Experience in Flight Following/Tracking
  • Strong interpersonal, decision making and communication skills and customer centric approach
  • The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility and a positive attitude

 

You will work a 2 week on, 2 week off roster (2/2) and be available to work on call as required.
