The role
As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Assisting in the ground movement of aircraft. And to carry out Flight-line operations


Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
•    Carry out Flight-line operations i.e. Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment. Daily Check A maintenance.
•    Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet.
•    Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment.
•    complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedure

 

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson.

 

Essential experience of the Aircraft Technician:
•    Aware of the MOD or Civilian Engineering procedures/documentation
•    Experience of the Aviation industry this can include work through college or university placements

 

Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician:
•    Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent

 


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) and DBS security clearance for this role.
