Human Resources Information Systems Specialist (12 Month Contract)

In this role, you will:


  • Manage and maintain the Human Resources Information Systems – including data reconciliation, and performing audits to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor the system interfaces to ensure data flows correctly between the HRIS and other Babcock systems
  • Process headcount and turnover reporting to relevant business stakeholders
  • Create and format reports pertaining to employee data including integrating data from the multiple HRIS systems or MS Excel spreadsheets
  • Trouble shoot any system issues within SAP Success Factors; including but not limited to workflow, approval, and employee queries and escalate as required
  • Manage permissions of users in the HRIS and other HR applications
  • Liaise and coordinate system/program implementation with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as the intermediary for any system changes/updates and provide training to the HR team as required
  • Assist in the strategic centralization of HR data and the utilization of the HR systems
  • Other duties as required


As our ideal candidate,


  • You hold a post- secondary education in Business Administration, or relevant work experience.
  • You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience maintaining, reconciling and monitoring the interface between Human Resources Information Systems
  • You have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel with intermediate proficiency in the other MS Office Suite programs.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management, with project implementation being a strong asset
  • Demonstrated capabilities using SAP software
  • Comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders and internal clients, both nationally and internationally
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
