The role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll support the supply chain activities that keep our aviation operations moving. Working as part of the logistics team, you’ll carry out a wide range of duties in accordance with MOD, RAF and Babcock processes—ensuring equipment is stored correctly, accounted for accurately, and available when required.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

Carrying out all logistics duties in line with MOD/RAF/Babcock policies and procedures.
Maintaining storage areas in accordance with Defence Logistics Framework and other regulatory requirements.
Ensuring personal authorisations, training and competencies remain up to date.
Supporting the upkeep and husbandry of the FEG department, compounds and vehicles within your area of responsibility.
Managing equipment establishments to ensure items are stored, maintained and accounted for accurately.

This is a full‑time, permanent, onsite role working 39 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–15:30.

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

Previous experience in supply chain or logistics within a military or civilian environment.
Experience using logistics‑based computer systems.

Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative:

Full UK driving licence.
C1 LGV up to 7.5 tonnes (desirable).
Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (desirable).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
