The role
As a Shift Driver Deputy Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Taking cadets on exercises and predetermined trips


Day-to-day, you’ll ensure that he/she undertakes driving duties as required pertinent to licences held and that a valid driving/operating licence or permit is held, as well as:

 

  • Ensure all vehicle faults are reported promptly.   
  • Loading/unloading and restraint of loads.
  • Ensure full and complete Daily inspections are carried out when tasked or required. Any faults found are to be reported promptly to MT Control personnel using the correct documentation.    
  • Complete when required Airfield Sweeping duties in line with the RAF Cranwell Sweeping plan.
  • Deputies for Supervisor when absent.

 

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cranwell. The shift pattern for this role is 2 days 2 nights on and then 4 off.

 

Essential experience of the Shift Driver Deputy Supervisor

  • Demonstrates Stakeholder engagement.
  • Good analytical/problem solving skills.
  • T Skills on word and excel.
  • Tacho experience
  • Previous driving experience in Mechanical Transport and Logistics environment.


Qualifications for the Shift Driver Deputy Supervisor

  • Clean driving Licence Cat B
  • C
  • C+E
  • D
  • DCPC
  • ADR Licence or Awareness


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
