Transport Compliance Officer

About the role

 

Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit a Transport Compliance Officer to support the business unit with Transport operations and compliance in association with Operators licencing, Driver checks, Vehicle audits, site operations and continuous improvement.

 

The role will be extremely varied but will include duties such managing your own time and diary to visit sites and carry out planned auditing of vehicles to check for defects, vehicle investigations and driver reviews. You will also produce audit and compliance reports to present to superiors whilst building strong relationships with sites.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leader in the Power networks industry, with possible internal progression to move upwards and sideways within a global organisation.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You must hold a CPC - National Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage and have previous experience in a similar role / transport environment.

 

Experience in FORS, Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme would be an advantage.

 

What else do I need to know?

 

You must be able to travel nationwide and stay overnight during the week at short notice if needed.
