The role
As an Incident Command Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working with the London Fire brigade professionally delivering the Incident Command & Leadership and Management programme.
Day to day, you’ll ensure the effective delivery of Incident Command & Leadership and Management Training in accordance with the Training Delivery Programme
- A minimum of 80% of your annual hours will be spent providing training to small and large groups of learners (LFB Incident Commanders at all levels)
- Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
- Ensure that all Babcock’s health and safety, equality and diversity and welfare and safeguarding policies are followed at all times within own area of responsibility.
- Complying with the Fit to Train policy in accordance with London Fire Brigade requirements.
Essential experience of the Incident Command Trainer:
- Demonstrable evidence of having been an Incident Commander within the UK Fire Service and having worked at WM7, EFSM2 or EFSM1 levels.
- Attained, working towards or committed to attaining an award in Education and Training or provide evidence of equivalent or higher teaching qualification
- Confident manner, organised and adaptable
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to give constructive feedback
Full time onsite
Qualifications for the Incident Command Trainer:
- Worked at WM7, EFSM2 or EFSM1 levels within the UK Fire service
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
