The role
As a Logistics Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Logistics department, delivery of the company’s contractual and statutory obligations whilst ensuring a safe and cost-effective working environment.

Day-to-day, you will be managing all accommodation bookings and events from allocating the correct accommodation for course training, to ensuring the accommodation is clean, tidy and ready for new tenants.
  

• Manage staff in accordance with Babcock Policies ensuring they have a full understanding of their tasks and responsibilities and with a clear commitment to supporting them in achieving their full potential.
• Deal with the day to day customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Ensure all administration and management systems are updated, maintained and complied with in accordance with current policy and procedures.
• Support departmental continuous improvement ideas and identify potential growth opportunities. 
• Comply with Quality Assurance processes and procedures.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at Chatham but travel to other sites might be required on an ad hoc basis. 

Essential experience of the Logistics Supervisor: 

• Experience and knowledge of using MS Office Suite

Qualifications for the Logistics Supervisor: 

• UK driving licence – pool car required for travelling to other sites.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC)  security clearance for this role.
