The role
As a Training Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Training Planner is responsible for scheduling and managing course timetables, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maintaining accurate training administration.
Day-to-day, you’ll deliver all course timetables and associated administration of the schools’ courses, working with Lead Trainers and Lead Lecturers, as well as:
• Ensure that all timetables are prepared and finalised at least 6 weeks in advance of course commencement date.
• Assist the training administration team as necessary, to manage course loading on TAFMIS and to maintain the accuracy of data held within the system.
• Plan the use of all resources, including the provision of instructors, to ensure training can be delivered to meet the Authority Training Plan.
• Have secondary roles providing back up to other training support functions as directed by the Line Manager.
This role is full time and bases onsite at our Lyneham site.
Essential experience of the Training Planner:
• Excellent IT Skills
• Experience in use of MS Office applications

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
