No prior experience as a Vehicle Electronics Technician Trainer is required - just good communication skills and an understanding of Electrical / Electronic Engineering principles - provided you can show the required level of experience, qualifications and willingness to develop into the role, then we would like to hear from you.
The role
As a Vehicle Electronics Technician Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary, delivering Electrical / Electronic Engineering training at the DSEME; this includes both theoretical knowledge and practical equipment-based work, to meet Army standards.
Day to day, you'll:
- Deliver Electrical / Electronic Engineering Practical and Theoretical Lessons
- Provide Subject Matter Knowledge and Guidance to develop teaching material
- Organise Course Preparation, including development of blended learning materials and interactive online content
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance on Vehicle platforms and Training aids
- Assess and mark Theoretical, Practical Assessments
This is a full-time role, with some flexibility to work from home.
Essential experience of the Vehicle Electronics Technician Trainer:
- Current and relevant industry knowledge (Electrical / Electronic)
- Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications for the Vehicle Electronics Technician Trainer:
- Level 3 Electrical / Electronics, with proven industry experience
- Level 4 or higher Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
The Vehicle Electronics Technician Trainer must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
