The role

 

As a Academic Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of instruction and the students learning experience.

 

Day to day, you’ll teach up to 16 students per class with another trainer, mark course work, prepare lessons and ensure students are meeting the required criteria. 

 

  • Deliver Contextualised Academic Lessons 
  • Marking of Exams and Course Work as required
  • Invigilation of exams
  • Course Preparation, including the development of blended learning materials/interactive online content
  • Apply Subject Matter Knowledge and Guidance to develop teaching material and support the course design process

 

Essential experience of the Academic Trainer:

 

  • Excellent communicator 
  • Empathic 
  • Encouraging
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office

 

This is a full time role based on site in Lyneham. 

 

Qualifications for the Academic Trainer:

 

  • Previous experience in teaching desirable but not essential as will put through the Level 4
  • Level 6 qualification is engineering related subject

 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
