The role

 

As a High Volume Pump Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. To deliver and accurately evidence High Volume Pump training (initial and periodic revalidation) to London Fire Brigade personnel complying with legislation and National Guidelines.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be an active and effective member of the High Volume Pump training team.

 

  • Ensure that training is delivered in a safe and professional manner in accordance with relevant course materials and risk assessments.
  • Communicate verbally and in written form ideas and concepts using language and style appropriate to the audience.
  • Assess learners, record results, provide feedback and guidance on performance, developing action plans as required.
  • Ensure that training is delivered in a safe and professional manner in accordance with relevant course materials and risk assessments.


This role is a 0 hour associate contract paying £27.20 per hour


Essential experience of the High Volume Pump Instructor:

 

  • Considerable occupational experience of conduct and requirements of High Volume Pump operation
  • Existing High Volume Pump instructor

 

Qualifications for the Volume Pump Instructor:

 

  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS or equivalent), or willing to study towards.

 

Security Clearance

 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
