Solution Developer (Training Support)

Location: Fareham/Portsmouth
Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a Solution Developer (Training Support) to support the Solution Architect in the identification of new technology and training solutions for the Training Support function. You will work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.   


Your main responsibilities will include the support of training support solutions and to identify new approaches and technologies in the development of modern learning solutions.


You will also be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development of training support processes i.e. designing courseware
  • Identifying applications that will be required to deliver a Training Support solution
  • Supporting bid writing
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders in order to understand training support requirements

What do I need to do the role?


You will have knowledge and experience of training/curriculum design and planning in accordance with either DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training) or ADDIE. You must have a strong background in training design, planning and support within a training/education/learning environment.


What else do I need to know about the role?


  • You will work a 37 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
  • Early Friday finish
  • All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
