As a Learning and Development apprentice, in the Land Training sector, you will help design, develop, plan and assure training activities for our Royal Engineer Customer. The tasks will be challenging and varied in an exciting environment, producing work which ensures the Royal Engineers know what to expect to find and undertake when deployed across the Field Army through a simulation environment.
Apprentices will be trained in the theory and practice of L&D, training design, engaging your audience training delivery, personal and professional impact, organisational and commercial awareness, training needs analysis and data, collection analysis and measurement tools over 15 to 18 months.
The role is based on a military Camp near Aldershot, which is the home of Combat Engineer Training for the Royal Engineers. What you’ll need:
GCSE level maths and English (or equivalent) and a technology/science base subject at grade C or above.
You must demonstrate an aptitude and knowledge of computer hardware configuration and deployment, have an interest in computer gaming and basic knowledge of computer programming.
Due to the customers need for the candidate to achieve the correct level of security clearance, all applicants will need to be aged minimum 18 years.
