The Architect Lead role is based within our Digital Services business area.

The role

 

The difference our new Architect Lead will make
As an Architect Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll support the Enterprise Architect by taking a leading role within the growing architecture team on a range of medium scale projects within a wider large scale transformation programme.

 

Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the output of up to 4 architects whilst also scoping, designing and presenting solutions to the customer and staff through discussion, written proposals, formal presentations, whiteboard workshops and diagrammatic storyboarding. You will partner with the customer business leads to understand sector and business unit strategy in order to agree IT solutions, whilst being mindful of our internal business strategy within the same sector and corresponding business units.

Essential experience

•    You will have experience in Technical Architecture and solution design. 
•    Strong customer engagement skills are a must, as well as bid experience being useful to have.
•    Proven experience in scoping and designing on premise SharePoint solutions
•    Strong technical knowledge of Windows, Oracle Middleware, Virtualisation, VDI based deliveries (VMWare/Citrix) and SharePoint
•    You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving ‘Security Check’ (SC) clearance.
