Project Manager (Support Services)

About the Role

Working within the JP9101 Support Services team (approx. $1 billion value 10-year project, to deliver Australia’s Defence High Frequency Communications System next-generation upgrade), you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle of multiple small-medium projects within the support services function.

 

You will be key project contact point for driving projects forward, including engineering changes requested by the customer, quoting from suppliers and liaising with procurement. You will consistently and effectively manage schedule and ensure allocated projects within the program stay within budget and are completed on time.

 

You will formulate project plans, define overall scope and priorities, update project documentation, and monitor milestones through the entire lifecycle conducting risk assessments as needed.

 

This role is based in Keswick, South Australia.

 

About you

You will bring your project management passion and expertise with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to this challenging and rewarding position within a highly sought after program.

 

You will have the flexibility and adaptability to support small-medium adhoc projects from start to finish with varied scope and change requests, predominately focused on engineering changes and project support services for sites nationally.

 

To be successful, you will have:

 

  • Australian citizenship with ability to obtain / maintain Defence Security Clearance
  • Significant experience in a similar role managing end to end project lifecycle
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of project methodology
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or Engineering
  • PRINCE / APM qualification or equivalent
