Expression of Interest – JP9101 High Frequency Communications Program

Reliability • Supportability • Engineering Technicians

Babcock is growing its team for the JP9101 High Frequency Communications Program — a nationally significant capability that will shape the future of Defence communications across Australia and beyond. As we expand, we’re seeking expressions of interest from talented professionals who want to contribute to a program with real impact.

We are expanding a multidisciplinary team across Reliability, Supportability, and Engineering Technician roles. If you’re passionate about complex systems, thrive in collaborative environments, and want to be part of a program delivering critical capability to the Australian Defence Force, we want to hear from you.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re interested in hearing from candidates with experience or strong capability in one or more of the following areas:

  • Reliability Engineering — analysing system performance, driving reliability improvements, and supporting design decisions that ensure long‑term mission success.
  • Supportability Engineering — developing support concepts, logistics strategies, maintenance frameworks, and lifecycle planning for complex systems.
  • Engineering Technicians — hands‑on technical professionals with experience in installation, integration, testing, maintenance, or field support of communications or electronic systems.

Whether you’re an established specialist or an emerging professional ready to step into a high‑impact program, we encourage you to register your interest.

What You’ll Be Part Of

Joining the JP9101 team means contributing to:

  • A major Defence communications program with national strategic importance
