- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the shipbuilding community.
- Provide engineering support and advice relating to configuration accounts and technical documentation.
- Ensure accurate configuration data is captured, maintained and accessible to support technical decision‑making.
- Communicate progress effectively, raising potential risks and proposing solutions in a timely manner.
This is a full‑time role based at Devonport, Rosyth or Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available. Occasional UK travel may be required.
Essential experience of the Configuration Management Engineering Technician:
- Using engineering documentation (drawings, technical records, etc.) to maintain configuration records.
- Understanding change management principles and the control of technical or project documentation.
- Experience with Ministry of Defence processes and publications (highly desirable).
- Knowledge of Configuration Management Plans and relevant industry or Defence Standards.
- Familiarity with the CADMID product lifecycle or similar engineering frameworks.
