The role

As a Service Support Driver, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will manage customer service processes to ensure the efficient intake of vehicles for repair and their timely return to customers upon completion.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Customer Service Team with vehicle issue and receipt
  • Monitor daily asset/vehicle movements against planned orders and timelines
  • Complete and submit discrepancy reports within 28 days of vehicle receipt
  • Ensure completed vehicles/assets are collected or dispatched within 20 days of job closure
  • Perform system administration across ERP, safety, asset management, quality, and learning platforms.

 

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at DSG Leconfield, North Humberside.

 

Essential experience of the Service Support Driver:

Proficient in PC applications, including MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and ERP systems.

 

Qualifications for the Service Support Driver:

  • HGV Category C Licence – Essential
  • HGV Category C+E Licence – Desirable
  • Minimum education: Level 2 qualification under the National Qualifications Framework (e.g., Intermediate Apprenticeship, Level 2 NVQ, GCSEs Grade A*–C, or O Level A)

 

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
