As a Passes and Permit Clerk you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for issuing personnel and vehicle passes to RAF High Wycombe staff and visitors, in line with the Control of Entry Policy and supporting the HADES contract.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Facilitate secure and efficient access to RAF High Wycombe
- Maintain effective working relationships with RAF Police and Military Provost Guard Service
- Create and manage group passes for large-scale events and high-profile visits
- Verify personnel clearances prior to issuing passes.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at RAF High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
Essential experience of the Passes and Permit Clerk:
- Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills; thrives in small team environments
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service
- Highly responsible, adaptable, and self-motivated
- Skilled in analysis and problem-solving
- Confident using computers; SISYS access control system training provided
Qualifications for the Passes and Permit Clerk:

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
