About the Role 

Babcock is seeking a motivated Senior Purchasing Officer to join our team based at Henderson, WA. This role enables efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes across assigned business areas while becoming an integral part of a collaborative and innovative team.
 

In this role, you’ll manage a small team of Purchasing Officers and support the Purchasing Lead by conducting ongoing procurement activities. 


This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step into a key role and mentor others in your team.

 

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance.
  • Previous experience in a similar procurement role
  • Exposure to leading a team
  • Experience and understanding in the use of RFI and RFP and other RFX processes.
  • Proficient skills in computers in the MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Defence industry experience will be highly regarded
