About the role

 

The Senior Engineering Technician (Supplier Assurance) applies well‑developed technical discipline knowledge to support the Strategic Procurement function through the technical assurance of supplier sustainment services. In this role, you will plan, assess, and verify supplier performance to ensure services meet required standards, contractual obligations, and engineering expectations.

 

You will also continue to build broader discipline capability, developing your technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience while contributing to the continuous improvement of supplier assurance processes and outcomes. Your work strengthens the integrity of our supply base and supports effective, reliable sustainment delivery across the organisation.

 

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct single‑domain technical investigations and analysis to generate data that supports problem assessment, resolution, and the design of improvements.
  • Plan, deliver, and monitor your own tasks, ensuring all requirements are met to the agreed time, quality, and cost standards.
  • Apply your technical knowledge to produce high‑quality documentation and solutions in support of assigned tasks, in line with the applicable Delegation of Authority.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of accurate technical documentation, ensuring records are securely stored within the appropriate data‑management systems to enable effective through‑life knowledge capture.

About you

You will bring your tertiary qualification in a related technical discipline with solid understanding  of applicable engineering toolsets.  You’ll be eligible for membership of a relevant professional body with a zest for continuous learning.

 

 

To be successful you will have:

  • Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
  • Current AU Drivers Licence
  • Construction White Card

 

This role is based at Henderson, WA.
