About the Role
As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Strategic Procurement team to make informed short‑ to medium‑term procurement decisions that minimise contract risk and maximise value for money.
Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, you’ll help ensure accurate Standard Activity pricing is available across all programs, supporting estimating, planning, and delivery activities.
You’ll coordinate RFQ packages, manage tender documentation, and assist with subcontractor engagement to ensure alignment with procurement policies, strategic objectives, and contractual obligations.
You will also support the broader procurement lifecycle by maintaining project registers, tracking scope changes, processing RFQs and purchase orders, and ensuring accurate cost reporting.
Your role will involve liaising with Repair Agents, coordinating technical reviews, validating quotes, and supporting project close‑out activities. With responsibilities spanning documentation control,
invoice verification, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement, you’ll contribute to efficient procurement operations and strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.

You hold relevant qualifications or at least two years’ experience in a similar role, and you’re ready to support a dynamic procurement function
through strong organisation, sound judgement, and a commitment to delivering value for the business.
To be successsful in this role you will bring:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel and a desire to enhance skills on the job
• Intermediate IFS or another ERP system
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing, Contract or Project Administration roles
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
