Project Maintenance Scheduler

About the role
As our Project Maintenance Scheduler, you will be part of a team responsible for the preparation and management of Project Schedules including the earned value and project controls reports. You'll review these reports for maintenance occuring, defect periods arising and opportunities for additional maintenance.
Your work will play a key part in supporting Babcock's Contracts for the total asset management of the Anzac Class frigates through to the end of their life.
This is a permanent position located in Henderson WA.
About you
You will be a problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills. You'll pride yourself on being a collaborative team member with the goal to get the work done in the most efficent and cost effective way by ensuring clear communication of all tasks and requirements for the Maintenance Teams.
With your keen eye for analysis, you'll regularly review the schedules, manage the variances and adjust the schedule where required. Importantly, you’ll be required to identify the quantitative schedule risk.
You will have demonstrated experience in a similar scheduler/ planner role and intermediate to advanced skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel;
- Experience with other scheduling software (Open Plan Professional, MS Project, Acumen Fuse, Primavera Risk Analyser)
- 2 years' experience in Scheduling or Planning
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems
- Intermediate skills in other Microsoft Suite programsn such as Power Query/BI
- Competent in the use of SAP
Essential to this role you must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an appropriate level as per role requirements and hold a valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
