About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our high-performing Marine team in Henderson, WA where we bring together engineering, design, systems integration and platform management capabilities to sustain the Collins Class submarines. Responsibilities of this role could include:
- Provide input into work schedules.
- Provide Preventative & corrective maintenance services for the Collins Class Submarine WDS, SSE, APU & WDHTR.
- Provide input into system engineering review to improve reliability, maintainability and availability of the equipment.
- Liaison with internal and external customers to ensure timely action of emergent work.
- Review of maintenance and technical documentation to ensure currency and accuracy.
- Provide feedback on Maintenance and quality processes.
Ideally you will have
- Australian Citizenship with NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Trade.
- Current forklift licence
- Current manual drivers’ licence
- Understanding of quality principles and procedures; and
- Understanding of submarine and ship systems.
