MRP Controller

About you
You’re someone who thrives in a fast‑paced supply chain environment and enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and insight to planning activities. You have a strong eye for detail, a collaborative approach, and a genuine interest in improving how materials and information flow through a complex organisation. You’re comfortable working within established processes while also identifying opportunities to enhance them. Most importantly, you enjoy partnering with procurement, warehouse, and operational teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time.
About the role
This role will enable effective and efficient supply chain operations by providing high‑level materials planning support across the Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) function. You will contribute to demand and supply planning, inventory optimisation, supplier engagement and data accuracy, ensuring operational requirements are met. Working within established procedures and supported by senior professionals, you will apply your planning knowledge and judgement to deliver reliable, timely and well‑governed planning outcomes.
The MRP Controller will play a key role in supporting integrated business planning processes, maintaining ERP data integrity, and contributing to supply chain transformation initiatives.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating materials planning activities to align with demand forecasts, inventory parameters and operational requirements
- Supporting demand planning, supply planning and inventory optimisation processes
- Maintaining accurate parts and materials data in ERP systems in line with governance standards
- Assisting with supplier engagement to ensure continuity of supply
- Generating reports and insights to support planning decisions
- Facilitating communication between supply chain, warehouse and procurement teams
- Supporting procurement activities including raising purchase requisitions
To be successful you will bring:
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance
- Approximately 3 years’ experience in supply chain planning, materials management or a related procurement/supply chain role
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems for inventory, materials and planning functions
- Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning and inventory optimisation principles
- Experience supporting procurement functions and collaborating with sourcing teams
- Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience
