About you 

 

Bring your interest and qualifications within finance, along with your strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, to this role where you will identify improvements and work with the team to solve inefficiencies within the current processes.  Your proven Power BI, estimation skills and coaching others will enhance the teams capability and provide you with a career path of your choosing in either Accounting or Finance or certainly a bit of both. 

 

To be successful you will bring:

  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline eg Finance/Accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven, strong attention to detail
  • A team player with strong computer literacy and skills including the MS Office Suite
  • A current drivers’ licence

 

About the Role 

This position has arisen due to an internal promotion and is an exciting career opportunity for you to use your qualifications and build on your experience. You’ll receive strong training from subject matter experts who will enable you to advance your financial career within the Defence Industry. 

 

Importantly, you’ll develop estimates and estimation techniques for contracts and tenders so your strong attention to details will be called upon.  Here you’ll consult across the business and drive positive pricing, bid and estimation outcomes. As part of the delivery of the project, you’ll track, analyse and report on cost variances for the WAMA contract.

 

There will also be the opportunity for you to develop and advance your career in this direction should you chose.

 

This role is based at Henderson, WA.
