EOI - Project, Platform, Production Managers

About the opportunity

As a result of dynamic growth within Babcock, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for Project Managers, Platform Managers and Production Managers to continue to support this growth.

These are leadership opportunities and each is responsible for the safe execution of maintenance activities for Babcock.

As the Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of assigned projects, ensuring key project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the Global Project Management Framework. This role oversees all aspects of project execution, including safety, scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and resource management.

As the Platform Manager, you are accountable to the Maintenance Manager for the quality and effectiveness of program management services delivered by the Integrated Project Team (IPT), including the Commonwealth (CoA), Regional Maintenance Centre (RMC), and Contractor Logistics and Capability Management (CLCM) stakeholders.

As the Production Manager, you are responsible for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities, ensuring work is delivered in accordance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and operational priorities. This role leads the planning, coordination, and control of personnel, materials, and facility resources to achieve maintenance outcomes on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will provide quality oversight of activities, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved  specifications and established work practices. You will also champion a strong safety culture and promote the health and wellbeing of all personnel supporting Babcock operations.

These opportunities are all based at the iconic Henderson AMC and Garden Island, WA.

About you

You are an experienced professional with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. You have a proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing technical teams, ideally within a large-scale marine engineering, shipbuilding, or construction environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
• A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, or a trade qualification with equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes to high technical, quality, and compliance standards.
• A current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Experience in contract administration and subcontractor management.
• Broad knowledge and experience within the Defence industry (preferred).
