About the Role
As a Commercial Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Contract and Commercial Manager to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely delivery of all contract administration activities.
You’ll assist with maintaining accurate project data, managing documentation, preparing reports, and supporting the development and submission of contract variations. Your work will help ensure
program status is clearly communicated and that commercial processes are followed consistently across the team.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, responding to contractual enquiries, coordinating documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll also support governance and compliance by ensuring all activities align with organisational policies, procedures, and safety expectations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute
to a high‑performing commercial function while developing your skills in a dynamic environment.
To be succesful in this role you will bring:
- Contract Administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting and purchasing/ process/ systems (IFS or other similar systems) preferred not essential.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.
- Prior experience in Defence sector is preferred.
