Senior Communications Engineer

Permanent – Full Time

Babcock are looking to recruit a Senior Communications Engineer to work across various, complex communication platforms and will support the Royal Navy with in depth engineering support. The role will require a highly competent engineer from either a communications or weapons background and have the ability to maintain and repair highly specialist equipment.  


This is a great opportunity for a technically qualified engineer to develop their skillset, working on some of the most high profile projects within industry. Babcock offer a supportive work environment where innovation is at the heart of what we do. 


What do I need to do the role?


  • Knowledge of communications systems or relevant experience i.e Radar, Sonar, Networks.
  • Relevant qualifications ideally in an engineering discipline.
  • Worked within a highly regulated environment.

What else do I need to know?


  • The role will be based at HMNB Clyde
  • Permanent Position with excellent salary and benefits
  • 37 hours per week with potential for flexible working
