The role
As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll join a growing Learning & Development team in a newly created position where you'll have the opportunity to make the role your own. This is more than a coordination role. It's a chance to shape learning processes, improve the learner experience, build strong relationships across the business, and contribute to the development of a highly skilled workforce that supports the United Kingdom's defence capabilities
Day-to-day you'll be required to:
- Coordinating training programmes, learning events, virtual sessions and related logistics.
- Managing learner records, enrolments, completions and reporting through the Learning Management System.
- Supporting learners, facilitators and stakeholders by providing timely guidance and communications.
- Producing accurate learning reports, metrics and compliance records to support business requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement activities that enhance learning processes and the overall learner experience.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:45 and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days onsite and one day working from home, with potential for increased flexibility as you become established in the role.
Essential experience of the Learning and Development Coordinator
- Previous experience within a Learning and Development or Human Resources environment.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems and managing learning administration.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing data, records and reporting accurately.
Qualifications for the Learning and Development Coordinator
We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you. A Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification, or working towards one, would be advantageous.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
