The role
As a Head of P&SC Systems, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Responsible for determining the procurement system & analytics strategy across projects and the wider Babcock Group.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll lead the Data & Analytics Programme across Group Procurement, managing the existing framework to support the data-driven decision making.

  • Accountable for all end-to-end Procurement data and reporting for all Procurement performance indicators. From extraction and data transformation to visualisation in dashboards and advanced analysis tools. Including owning the P&SC systems strategy and roadmap
  • Determine procurement system and analytic strategy including upstream, downstream, and reporting
  • Support system roll – out, improvement and decommissioning of legacy systems
  • Structure master data required for system use

 

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

 

Essential experience of the Head of P&SC Systems: 

  • Experienced practitioner with knowledge of current strategic system techniques in a similar environment 
  • Experience in system deployment. 
  • Experience in Data analytics for Procurement. 
  • Proven track record of delivering complex Procurement analytics solutions within a large industrial/defence company. 
  • Experience working in project environments for System deployment.

 

Qualifications for the Head of P&SC Systems:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent or experience
  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications is desirable

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
