The role
As a Group Occupational Health Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will provide support and guidance to the Group Head of Operational HSE.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll manage the development and delivery of an occupational Health strategy through the business, with the engagement and collaboration of the Sectors and Direct reporting Countries, third party suppliers, contractors and customers. 

  • Management of Group standards for occupational Health
  • Support the strategy for the proactive management of occupational health
  • Management and implementation of the Occupational Health Improvement Programme as part of the overall safety programme
  • Chair/Group core member of the Occupational Health Working Group
  • Engage and develop a collaborative partnership across the Business unit to ensure strategic goals and plans are achieved

 

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with occasional travel onsite when required.

 

Essential experience of the Group Occupational Health Manager:

  • Strong Occupational Health experience
  • Large complex national or global experience, in matrix or JV projects/organisations: construction or safety critical work environments
  • Experience and/or qualification in Occupational Health or Occupational Hygiene
  • Knowledge of UK and international Occupational Health requirements and standards and associated good practise
  • Experience of proactively engaging with Senior, Contract and Site management to improve Occupational Health performance 

 

Qualifications for the Group Occupational Health Manager:

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
