The role


The difference our new Project Support Officer will make
As a Project Support Officer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Project Support Officer with the project skills and experience to join our growing engineering services business.  

Day to day, you’ll work as a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO) providing end-to-end delivery of all contract tasking and projects, you’ll report to a Senior Project Manager. Providing support to, and deputising for, Project Managers and Project Controllers for the delivery of complex projects and work packages. Managing a portfolio of minor tasks and projects autonomously. The regular monitoring and updating of internal tasking programmes to ensure that task workflows are appropriately managed and key updates and actions are affected in a timely and accurate manner; MS Office packages, IFS, SAP, Jira.

Essential experience

•    Great organisational skills to manage changing demands in a dynamic environment.
•    Experience in managing a portfolio of work packages or projects with competing demands and deadlines.
•    A team player, able to work well on their own but also play a key support role as part of the PMO team.
•    Good financial management skills to ensure a high level of profitability on projects.
