The role

As a Project Manager / Project Jupiter Programme Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll be accountable for delivering a high value inter-departmental project to achieve safety, operational and business improvements.

Day to day:

• Project and Programme Management process and accountability for Project Jupiter
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Ensure sub-projects run to programme and against key milestones.
• Drive the communication plan in conjunction with the Comms team.
• Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders through the presentation of reports and information documents internally and externally.

Essential experience of the Project Manager:

• Project Manager background within Aviation – Practitioner level.
• Experience with managing risks and contingency. 
• Ability to analyse opportunities and solve problems.

Qualifications of the Project Manager:

• Appropriately qualified Project Manager
• APMP certified

This role is offered on a 6 months Fixed Term Contract basis, and is based at Gloucestershire Airport (formerly Staverton Airport) west of Cheltenham, near the city of Gloucester and close to the M5 motorway.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance level for this role.
