The role
As a Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We need you to support us in forging new paths, contributing as we grow through exciting, but sometimes challenging change.  As part of the team, you will be reporting to the Site Manager.

 

Day to day, you’ll: 

  • Interface with customers, suppliers and colleagues to contribute to the smooth running of the stores functions
  • Update Asset Manager as required with information provided by both Babcock and customer staff to maintain accuracy after or during audits 
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and colleagues as required ensuring the smooth transfer of goods to include issuing, receipt and returns
  • Assist with management of COSHH across the site ensuring all measures are in place for correct and safe use of COSHH items
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping within the stores minimising risks

 

This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch.


Essential experience of the Inventory Control Specialist

  • Ability to learn new skills / techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions
  • A self-starter, who is performance driven - with a desire to make significant contribution/impact.
  • Ability to work independently once clear direction is provided

 

Qualifications for the Inventory Control Specialist

  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Health & Safety qualification IOSH Working Safely or equivalent
  • UK Driving licence

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
